I’m really liking the software so far. Only issue I have is that I’m unable to access the DVR remotely. I’ve tried the iOS app along with the web app with no luck. I’ve disabled all firewalls and allowed port forwarding on my Google Wifi and my Verizon modem/router. Internal connections work fine.
Is your DVR plugged into the Google WiFi or the Verizon router?
The way google wifi works it often creates a double NAT which will prevent remote access. You need to login to the Verizon router and make the Google Wifi primary router part of the DMZ.
Thanks so much! Once I added Google Wifi primary router to be part of the DMZ it worked. I was curious to know if this makes my network more vulnerable. I know the Verizon router has a firewall just wasn’t sure about the Google Wifi.
The google Wi-Fi has its own NAT and firewall which is why you don't need two of them
