I just have a few questions on the inner workings of the remote functionality. I’ll try and make it quick and to the point.

When viewing “Live” TV via a remote location using either the TV app or the iOS app and you select a different streaming bit rate than the original (i.e. 720 at 4Mbps), is the transcoding taking place at your local location where you have the DVR software installed and then the stream is uploaded? I assume this is how it works, but not positive.

When using the remote login feature on the Apple TV app it will occasionally “forget” the remote login credentials and I will be forced to log into the remote DVR again. Is that normal at this point in development?
