Remote Record; setting a recording from the guide when away from home

Hello,

Is it possible to remotely setup a DVR recording of a programme or series whilst away from home?

In the UK the Sky HD & Q STB products / services allow the setting of recordings and series’ whilst away from home from their iOS & Android Apps and website from the TV guide. Is this possible with Channels? I think only Sky have this feature in the UK and it’s very useful if you’ve forgotten to set a recording or a friend tells you about a great new show etc.

Apologies, I just found my answer in Features:

“You can manage your entire DVR from within the app, nothing else is needed. You can even do it while away from home, all over a secure connection.”

I’m seriously considering HDHR Quattro DVBT-2 and Channels and this is one feature I’d like to retain.

Yep, you can do it directly with the iOS app at home or while away from home after setting up Remote DVR.

Or you can use https://my.channelsdvr.net and use the web admin.
