I have my mom using my dvr from afar on her fire stick. She ran into an issue where the TVE channels weren’t showing up. So I told her to power cycle her fire stick and try again. This brought her to the find your dvr page. She’s getting a url that points her to my old dvr that has all services turned off. Why is that?
The url that's shown is usually the IP of the FireTV itself, used to initiate the authentication process.
Unless you're saying it's connected to an old dvr and showing content too?
This was a url to finish setting up the dvr. It’s pointing to my old dvr. Is it a setting on my router maybe? I’m not home to check.

I have bonjour turned off. I’m 99.5% sure
If it’s on, then it’s reporting back to our servers and is considered valid.
If it’s not being used anymore, you need to uninstall it.
