I've had three instances in the last week where my remote client was not able to access the server - a "playback failed" message. It resolved each time by restarting the server (rebooting the windows PC server).
Any thoughts on how to fix this?
Not quiet what you asked , but I had so much trouble with remote streaming I switched to Tailscale. Works flawlessly
make sure you are manually port forwarding on your router
Port forward works fine (and just reconfirmed settings) because there is no issue with access most of the time....just lately constant dropping access to server from remote client. It just happened again one hour ago - so frustrating - a recent issue.
