Remote watching

Watching outside of my home is basically unbearable. WiFi, cellular, it doesn’t matter. The content buffers every 30 seconds or so and is absolutely awful. I’ve been using Tablo for years without this issue. Any tips on making this work?

Need more details about your network, server, server connectivity (wifi or wired), internet provider, upload and download bandwidth, remote client etc.

Without all of that info its like asking "my car won't run any idea why?

Tablo transcodes everything on the fly on its own hardware. Maybe your current system isn't powerful enough to transcode when you are viewing remotely?. This may be the cause of your stuttering and not your internet connection. What type of system are you running Channels DVR on? Is your CPU maxed out when viewing remotely?

I can tell you I don't have any issues watching remotely. It's a little more sluggish than viewing locally, but no stuttering or buffering unless the connection is poor.
