Remove an HDHR from Config page

I’ve added an HDHR of a friend by IP address, and found it’s not practical due to network speed. Problem is I can’t seem to remove it now. Is there a method to delete? The trash icon next to it just removes the guide provider. I have a site to site VPN where the other HDHR is.

Another problem I found with this, which can probably use its own topic, but it’s such a rare case I’ll mention it here… the guide data for the remote HDHR ( a different zip code) has overlapping channels with those in my zip code. The result is the channel icons end up showing my for my regions channels, but when tuning to it streams from the channel in the remote HDHR.

You will need to restart the server to make it forget the HDHR.

I’ve done that (many times). It always persists to be there. It seems like I’m going to have to break the VPN tunnel and restart for it to go away. Was hoping there was an easier way.

@dkrack - curious to know what the relevant ISP speeds are in your site to site VPN config. I’ve been thinking of doing the same thing but not sure if it will work due to uplink speeds.

Oh I see it’s still on the network. As long as there’s no guide data associated it should affect anything

The remote HDHR site has 300/20Mbps ( in Southern CA), and I have 1000/35 (in Northern CA on the receiving end). All of the channels there are Mpeg2 however, so bitrate is ~10Mbps. Still theoretically it should work, but it glitches way too much to be usable.

Thanks, I deleted the guide associated with it, and the channels no longer show up on the app or web guide.

Thanks for the info. Speeds sound similar to what I have available as well so good to know that this may not be an option.
