I have a new Ford Explorer that has Android Automotive OS built in. To be clear, I'm not talking about Android Auto. Android Automotive OS supports video apps while the car is parked and the car came with several video apps preinstalled. Channels does play in the built in Chrome browser, but the App would be a better experience. It also looks like the requirements for a "parked app" are more straightforward than for Android Auto.
