Is there a way to re-start the Channels DVR server on a Synology device without having to restart the entire box? Lately my guide data seems to go wonky every now and then. If there is an update available I can just install the update and when it restarts everything is good. Otherwise I have to restart the entire Synology device. Is there no "restart" button anywhere, or am I just missing something?
In the Synology apps interface you can stop and start the DVR.
There's also a button in the DVR web UI to reload guide data. And you can check the Log tab for any errors when stuff is acting wonky to see why.
