Trying to rebuild my QNAP NAS, when I try to restore from the old database. I got the below error, the problem is that there is no option for me to “uncheck” any box on the Setting page.
“Cannot restore from backup while DVR is running. Uncheck the DVR checkbox on the Settings page.”
How to proceed?
What do you see on the Settings tab? There should be a DVR option that is checked
Sorry. Never mind. It was downloading guide data during initial setup when I tried to restore. The checkbox was not available until it finished downloading the data. Now, it’s fine, restore is ok now. I suggest to make the error message more accurate by saying wait till the checkbox to show up.
