Since Pop Channel is still broken causing DVR Server to reboot every time its tuned, with the latest release and All fox channels are now broken and also TV Land and from what I'm reading many more. How do I return to the release earlier that worked. I click on Check for Stable release with no results.
There should be a way to down grade to earlier version that worked like all other software as long as it was downloaded or saved. This is the one issue I have with Channels when preleases break other things but are reliant on new prelease to fix issues instead of ability to down grade. Clicking on the Check for Stable release does not work as it states.
TVE as a primary format to watch and record live programming is becoming a more of a nuisance and not very reliable anymore.
Moving back to a prior release is done manually. In my case I use Linux. All I do is delete the "latest" pointer and recreate it to point to the version I want to use. I do this from the command line in the channles-dvr folder.
Well what ever the fatal panic error was killed the PI after it rebooted for the last time. I have decided to return to my NAS and not experiment with the PI anymore. Thanks for the instruction but I wouldn't know where to find that on the drive anyway.
Since it was puppy day. I had a reason to return home and physically recycle power to PI4 and updated to latest pre-release update and everything seems to be backup and working again. I tuned to Pop and all the Fox Channels effected by the issue and all seems to be working great. Don't know what the Fatal Panic Errors was but Developers were on top of it and fix the issue. Thanks
