Return to program goes back to start

I have been experiencing an odd behavior when I leave a live broadcast and then return to it. I am expecting to return to it Live at the current time. But it returns me to the beginning of when I started to watch that originally. Basically, a deja vu experience.

I tried changing to another channel then back and it seemed to work (Live @ current time) but I just did that and the problem recurred.

So, basically, leaving Live broadcast 1, switching to something else (#2) and returning (to #1) (relatively soon < 1 minute) takes me back to where I started #1 originally.

What client and device are you watching and seeing this on?

Client is Tivo Stream 4k remote connecting to Channels DVR running on QNAP NAS.

Channels DVR 2022.02.24.2143
Channels Beta v302082052 (202.8.2052)
TiVo Stream 4K
AndroidTV 9 API/28

Is it happening on all sources, TVE and HDHR too?

I'm guessing this doesn't happen at home, only remotely.

Can you submit diagnostics from the app after tuning into channel #1 again and starting at the wrong spot

I don't use TVE - just HDHomeRun Prime.

I will replicate and send diagnostics. Do you want DVR, client or both?

Home vs. remote, I don't know. I've been remote for 3 weeks and its only recently that I've seen the behavior. I won't be back at where I have my server for 2 weeks or so.

I know this i an Old thread but what did come out of this. I am experiencing the exact same issue.

Do you know where this issue ended back in February 2022. I am experiencing the exact same behavior now. Maybe there is some kind of workaround ?
