Returning from the Wilderness

Spent a week+ out at a cabin in the woods, hundreds of miles from home, zero cell phone reception, and WiFi speeds like this (usually worse):

Remotely streaming Channels worked perfectly with no issues! Thank you!

Now, that's what I call vacation! Nice to disconnect once in a while. :slightly_smiling_face:

Glad to know about remote streaming working nicely for you.
By the way, what is your upload speed at home?

It's supposed to be 200/200, but it generally come in at 300/150. However, I was/am having some router/ISP issues that started before I left that I have not been able to resolve yet, so it's been more like 90/60.

Remember, for your next trip, Channels now offers downloads!
You can store a whole lot of recorded content on your phone/iPad (just in case the wifi does go down...)

We're an Apple-free house (only the eating and baking kinds here), but @eric already let us plebeian Android users know we are not forgotten:

However, we only brought a streaming stick to watch a little something in the evening to wind down before bed. And according to @maddox when asked about bringing downloads to those:

Hopefully the Devs will change their minds with time (wouldn't be the first time) as this is a perfect use case!
