Safe to re-scan for channels?

I have everything working well with my Connect, and the Channels app and DVR. I’m reluctant to touch anything. :slight_smile:

However, I’ve been moving my antenna around, and I would like to re-scan my channels lineup. Is it safe to do so? Will the DVR notice this automatically, and do whatever it needs to do? Are my scheduled recordings safe?

DVR will notice but it can take up to an hour. You can click Scan network to refresh hdhomeruns and lineups.

If a channel disappears the DVR will stop downloading guide data for it, which will then mean search and rules won’t find airings. This won’t happen til 8-10am the next day though.
