Same show multiple channels priority

Hi. I notice when searching and scheduling a show that appears on multiple channels at the same time (eg ITV and UTV), the channel with the highest number takes priority. Is there any way to reverse this so the lowest channel number takes priority as that would most likely be the more important channel. Thanks.

Which client are you using to do the search?

I use AppleTV and iOS

Ok. I think this behavior is due to the duplicate channel merging that the clients do. So you’ll always see results for the channel with the highest priority as defined in the client settings. You can switch the source order and/or your favorites in the client settings to adjust this.

Thanks for the reply. It’s not duplicate channels. It’s duplicate shows on at the same time across multiple channels. See screenshot highest channel number is priority

Where are you getting this screenshot. Are you looking at scheduled recordings?

I got that by searching for a show. If I go to record, it shows the channel with the highest number

Look on the dvr web UI schedule. All three numbers show appear, and will be sorted based on your dvr sources priority and favorited/HD channels.

See image. All channels are from the same source and are in order by number

The only way to change this at the moment is by favoriting or hiding channels

Ah ok. All of those channels are favourites at the moment. I can disable the other 2. Was just curious how the priority is in the reverse order. Thanks for your help.
