Same Show, Multiple Channels, Recording in Separate Folders

I have series recordings that I have set up as All Episodes, Any Channel.
Two shows have episodes that are being recorded on 2 different channels, and each channel seems to have it's own "folder" or grouping as shown below:

Right now there are 2 shows that show this behaviour, shouldn't each shows recordings be in the same folder or group, no matter what channel they are recorded on?
The way it is now, sooner or later the show(s) will wind up duplicate recordings, but they won't know about each other.......

It's most likely because the guide data does not indicate that the series are the same. Are both of these using guide data provided by Channels/Gracenote? Or is one (or both) using third-party data you're importing via a Custom Channel?

If it's the latter, there really isn't anything Channels can do, as your guide data is telling Channels that the programs are not the same.

I've got a couple of my own like that.
Gracenote has two different tms id's for the same show.
You can search for the title at zap2it.com and see it there.

The second one is coming from Pluto. The guide data between OTA and Pluto does not overlap so the dvr doesn't know it's the same show.

Is there any way to resolve that does not involve exporting/importing and deleting the originals? Just noticed the wifey started doing this with a show that is on OTA and Pluto and I'm sure I won't be able to stay on top of this if she keeps setting up manual recordings.

EDIT: Also, maybe because there are 2 of them, the one from Pluto is refusing to accept labels.
