With the very recent update on the android version of the app, I no longer have controls when playing back. I used to be able to tap the screen, and controls would pop up (pause fast forward, rewind, jump to a different part of the show timeline), but now when playing back I do not get the controls.
support responded to my email and suggested I try the beta version of the app on my phone. I did, and it seems to be fixed there.
