Thank you!
Thanks for the quick fix!
Thank you so much for getting this working again.
Thank you!
@matthuisman am i missing something with your fix?
I don't see any commits to the GH repo and the docker hub is also a year old.
As explained previously, there's no reason to use the docker version for this anymore:
Source: https://i.mjh.nz/SamsungTVPlus/us.m3u8
XMLTV: https://i.mjh.nz/SamsungTVPlus/us.xml
That’s nice. I still would rather not have to pull files from New Zealand for US tv. I prefer to handle it in my own servers. So if it’s fixed, I would like the fix to work in my home docker. As a paid supported on GH of Matt, I would really appreciate this functionality back within my own four walls.
Thanks.
I use the Docker and it is fixed. As covered above, all the Docker does is copy the m3u and XML guide data to a local location and set up a page to view it. All the code changes to fix this had nothing to do with what is on GH and the Docker. As far as the GH/Docker is concerned, everything is normal and a-okay!
In this case, your home docker is still pulling the same files from the same location. Just saying.
then i guess i incorrectly assumed it was doing similar things to other containers like the ones for pluto and stirr.
Looks like the guide data stopped updating again.
It's working for me just fine.
I just checked and Samsung TV+ guide is working fine for me. Are you using the direct URLs, or are you using the unnecessary Docker method?
Same here. I'm using these files directly and all appears to be working fine.
I just set this up and its not working for me. Guide has the channels listed with no programming. I tried the direct urls and also the docker version and same result with both.
I confirm, no details in the EPG.
This happened recently and @matthuisman had to do something to fix it. Hopefully this can be fixed too.
Samsung TV+ with guide data is working for me right now. Using these URLs directly:
https://i.mjh.nz/SamsungTVPlus/us.m3u8
https://i.mjh.nz/SamsungTVPlus/us.xml
i suspect every so often there is a program title or something that my script doesnt like. seems ok now again so can't catch the error. ill update my logging to keep old logs so hopefully next time we have issues I can see what it was and fix
The url for the guide data has guide data. Channels is just not presenting it in the guide for some reason.
