The guide data in the XML is 6 hours worth.
It was generated about 2 hours ago, so has 4 more hours of guide data.
If a new one isn't generated in the next 4 hours (should be every hour) you'll run out of guide data.
Ah gotcha, I now understand what you were saying. Yes, I only have guide data until the 11pm show. So here's hoping it updates over the next couple hours.
Just checked, and now i have guide data again, until 11pm my time.
I just told channels to download the latest guide (before 8pm EST) and it downloaded guide data until the 1am show so it's downloading approx 6 hours of data so that's promising. Although, let's see if it continues downloading tomorrow and the next day and the next......
its going to be unreliable until i find time to split up the servers.
Hopefully over the next week
Since I download directly from the site I don't feel it was your implementation's problem. I feel the actual EPG site had issues.
My EPG data is back to normal now. Thanks Matt for all you do!
Epg data only goes out 3.5 hours
Iām only getting 414 channels.
Is this correct?
Thanks
No channels in guide are working
matthuisman stated above it will be unreliable until he gets time to work on it
Ok, thanks
my other client is showing this when i try to tune a Samsung channel
2025/04/02 16:33:08.338122 [ERR] Failed to start stream for ch3017: M3U: Could not fetch playlist from jmp2.uk: GET: https://jmp2.uk/sam-USBC4400003OU.m3u8: 530
2025/04/02 16:33:08.338171 [HLS] Couldn't generate stream playlist for ch3017-dANY-ip192.168.0.4: M3U: Could not fetch playlist from jmp2.uk: GET: https://jmp2.uk/sam-USBC4400003OU.m3u8: 530
Weird, cause my main client is able to play channels fine.
I deleted and re-added Samsung to my other server, (same playlist URLs) same results. Won't play.
Spoke too soon. Now my main server can not stream.
have Guide data, and all the channel line up loads, but can't actually stream.
Maybe Matt is working on splitting the servers up or whatever??
nothing has changed since my reply 3d ago...
Expect it to go down. Be surprised if it works
So...its dead until u can find the time to fix it....ok.
Acknowledged.
well the streams are back working now from what i can tell.
my priority is streams working over EPG.
@matthuisman
Guide data ran out again today.

But the channels are still streaming.
should be back now
my script was failing before the final git push.
So the github files were not being updated.
Have now updated my script to push first, run script, push again.
So a push should always happen
Thanks.
Looks like it started working again at 2025-05-14T03:16:15Z
I managed to figure out how to get the SamsungTVPlus local links set up on my Synology NAS via the "Container Manager" and plugged them into my Channels DVR (that is, the Synology app version) as a source. Everything is working except there's no option to turn on subtitles/captions when I select a SamsungTVPlus program to watch in the Channels DVR TV guide (Synology app version). What am I missing? I am deaf so I need this functionality. My other sources work just fine with subtitles/captions. The Samsung TV channel captions work in a separate player I added it to (iMPlayer).
This is excellent and I pulled the streams to my NAS -one channel that I was keen on "Now 90s/00S" for UK is not working - any chance you can help fix that channel?
