San Diego COX DirecTV CBS KFMB TVE

I'm wondering if anyone is able to get local San Diego CBS TVE working with either COX or DirecTV? If so, is it from a Cable/Satellite provider or Paramount+ subscription?

I have COX but channel 6003 has a "notAuthorized" status.

My brother has DirecTV - I tried testing his creds and don't even see local CBS (KFMB) as an option.

I'm willing to get a Paramount+ subscription if it also adds the ability to get TVE working, but hope not to.

FYI - I'm currently running version 2021.08.07.0133.

I tested DirecTV/Spectrum and both authenticate successfully, but says not available in my area (San Diego). Other posts indicate that CBS station ownership determine if this feature is available locally or not.

Yep - complain to your affiliate, though it is probably hopeless.

So not sure what happened but looks like CBS is working with Spectrum now? I see other users in the forum mention spontaneous success as well.
