Saorview Season Pass II

Appoligies for repeating an old post (July '21), but this issue still appears to be ongoing. Am receiving channel line up from Saorview (Ireland) and Freeview (UK). Season Pass works on Freeview, but not on Saorview. The UI appears to set up the Pass as normal, but no recording will take place. Using the search function, and recording individual episodes does however work. Anyone any ideas ?

What are the details of the two passes ?

Hi tmm1,
Thanks for the reply. Please see attached images, not sure if these are of any help to you. 'Smother' was on RTE One, (and didn't record), 'The Handmaids Tale' was on Channel 4 (and did record the whole series) The Handmaids Tale isn't recent by the way, I haven't set up any passes for UK channels for a good few weeks now.

Many thanks for any help.

Do the episodes show under the matches tab? If not remove the new tag. Sometimes the provider doesn't tag new shows as new. You can use an advanced pass of that is the case and use a condition like season greater than X to limit it to new episodes. (this is a shot in the dark as I don't know if this is what is causing your issue). I usually just play with the conditions until the matches show what I want.

Great point.
Another could be that "Smother" is airing with more than one SeriesID.
You can test that in the pass by adding Title == Smother or Title CONTAINS Smother and removing SeriesID == 19586325 to see if it finds any Matches before saving those changes.

Irish channels almost never use “New” tags for anything. Would be nice if they could get them.

If you do a search in the DVR web UI for Smother, does it list any airings it found in the Guide?
They should be listed with unique identifiers for each airing (like Series or Season and Episode numbers) in order for Channels DVR to see them as different episodes to record.

Example (Smother doesn't air here, so using something close)

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Off on vacation for a few days now, so will get the time to check out all the info provided.
