I am new to this, what is the best apple tv app I could use with the mentioned server , how can I gnerate and upload M3U file to the server ?

Three options, I think:
- Use TVHeadend, to scan and arrange your channels, which can then spit out an M3u which you can use with Channels DVR. This is the method I opt for.
- Find an m3u, few sources, depends which satellite/region though (my example for UK freesat https://github.com/iMiMx/Sat-IP-UK-Freesat-M3U)
- Use a scraper, to create one from someting like King of Sat (https://github.com/localhosthack0r/kingofsat2satip)
But as for the best Apple TV app you could use? I'm not sure I follow, this forum is really only about Channels DVR Apps?

Thank you so much for this helpful information , my problem I tried to use TVHeadend but couldn't locate my server , I think I am missing something, I entered it manulay still the same
I will do some work today on the server and see if it works
