I recently received my HDHomeRun PRIME and installed it on my 172.16.1.0/24 subnet of my home network. My Apple iPad Mini 2 is connecting to the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet and doing the “Scan network for tuners” it located the HDHomeRun PRIME without an issue and I’m able to watch TV on the Apple iPad Mini 2, however I do notice that after closing the lid on the Apple iPad Mini 2 and return after a few hours I’m presented with the initial setup screen once again. From there I have to redo the “Scan network for tuners” which is locates and then I watch TV.

Is this a bug, or a known bug? Better question is, is there a fix for it?

Best way to fix this is to click “Add Tuner Manually” and enter the ip address of your HDHomeRun. Then the app will remember it and not need to scan.

@tmm1 Just a follow up, manual and scan does not retain the setting for the HDHomeRun Prime
