Possible in the future to allow scans for both series and movies, or have it scan more then one file at a time? Its helpful when you have series that have like 20+ years.

YEP!! i have a 16 core cpu.. make it hurt..
speeds are not limited.. ssd
In almost all situations the scanning is not CPU constrained, but IO constrained. The only time it would help to do concurrent scanning would be in situations with a RAID of high speed SSDs. In any other situation, adding multiple readers would hurt overall performance of the scanning.
true, but with todays SSD and m2 drives, think it would be beneficial to those devices. Least give us the option or allow both movies and tv to be imported.
