So I have new Mac mini m1 and I have external drive with just movies and was working but now. In log. Scanner error walking.

Maybe you can delete the directory it's complaining about?

It starts with a "dot", and is therefore considered hidden. You need to enable display of hidden files to see it in the Finder, or manually delete it from the command line.
ok delete and still nothing
i even reformated drive
what format should i format in mac
Iām guessing maybe it got mapped twice and macOS is automatically appending ā-1ā to the end of it?
So i have reformatted drive to exfat and still same issue i delete hidden file and empty trash and comes back

I guess it doesn't work with exfat then for some reason.
i have tried both exfat and mac format does same then on both

so think fixed it
i went into system preferences under privacy and enable full write access to channels dvr that seemed to fix problem
even though it said under files and folders that gave access to removable and desktop would give me that error
