Recording scheduling should take max streams of inputs into account and present a warning in DVR web and client when you try to schedule a record that would exceed the limit at that given time and possibly show what are the conflicting schedules.
Oldschool DVB-S receivers always did this.
Also a little warning on scheduling page if passes do conflicting/limiting execeeding schedules would be nice.
We have several TV Sources connected to channels: DVB-S with 4 tuners, DVB-T with 1 tuner and a free local IPTV service with 2 streams allowed. Its sometimes hard to remember which channel belongs to which source and what limits apply, when scheduling tv shows.
