Scheduled recordings - doubling up (possible bug/feature request)

I’m unsure whether this is a bug or a feature request.

In the UK I have set up a schedule to record Neighbours Monday-Friday at 1.42pm on Channel5.

However, this channel also repeats the previous days episode a few hours before in the morning which the DVR is also recording. I am therefore ending up with double the amount of episodes recorded and if I go away its difficult to keep track of where I am as there are duplicate episodes.

The reason this is happening is because under the Series Pass options, II have it set to Record ‘All Episodes’, however when I select ‘New Episodes’ only, the show does not record.

you can fix this with the advanced pass options on the web-ui.

Go to web-ui, then DVR, then passes, then find your show, click the pulldown, go to advanced option. This is where you can set custom conditions. Among many other things, you can restrict the recording to a specific time. For instance, add a condition for “Time CONTAINS 13:42” and only the episodes that are scheduled to air at 13:42 will be recorded.
