Scheduler not updated after Power Outage restored?

I have been noticing that after a power outage the programs I had setup on a schedule were not recording. I looked at the scheduler on the server side and nothing there was nothing scheduled, so I went into the Maintenance and updated several things then my schedules started working again?

Can someone tell me what I updated for this to work again I lost track of what I did.

It would be nice if the Server software would notice that there was a power loss or network loss and automatically update the scheduler, or have some kind of diagnostic option we could run Manually to re-sync data that was out of sync after the power came back on again, or an automatic routine would run after the server was restarted on it's own would be even better.
