Screen saver not triggering

Anyone else using an Apple TV (2017) having issues with the screen saver not triggering? I have it set for 2 minutes and other apps like Netflix and YTTV work correctly. I am on the latest pre-release, too.

Edit - disregard. I read that it only works for recorded programming not live.

The reason for this is that the program gets backgrounded when the screen saver kicks in; for live content in Channels, this would kill the buffer. It is for this reason that the screen saver is disabled when viewing live content, but enabled for recorded content.
