Hello, I just set up a new RPi server using the Channels DVR image along with an HDHR Flex 4k tuner. I can see and tune in all OTA channels using the HDHR app without issue. When I try to view an SD channel through the Channels DVR the SD picture doesn't encode properly. It looks like the DVR is trying to encode the SD picture using HD parameters. I've tried different experimental settings, swapped between hardware and software transcoding, etc... but can't seem to come up with a solution. ALL local SD channels are affected.
I'm seeing this in the browser, android phone app, and my smart (google) TV so the problem seems to be withing the Channels DVR system. I set this up to be able to view our OTA channels from out of town. Has anyone come across a similar issue? Thanks, Beau
This is a known issue with the rpi encoder

You can change to Original quality in the app to skip transcoding
