Search Current Lineup vs Search All Lineups

Can someone explain the difference? Where are these lineups coming from? Why does Current include a channel number while "All" doesn't?

I've searched but can't find any documentation/help on this.

Might help if you say where you're seeing this, or provide a screen capture.
I don't see it on my servers running the latest pre-release.

It's in the Lineup Editor

That's for mapping guide data using a networks call sign/name to a channel.
Search Current Lineup means to search in the provider and zip/postal code you specified.
Search All Lineups means to search in every provider and zip/postal code.

I didn't specify a provider or zip code. I don't even see an option for that. Where are the "Current Lineup" results coming from?

Depends on your source.
If it's an HDHR tuner, then it comes from the provider and zip/postal code you selected.
If it's a custom m3u, then it would come from the playlist or XMLTV source you defined for it.

It's a custom m3u. Does it pull lineup info from the channel server URL? I haven't defined anything else for it.

I found where to specify the source. Thank you.

I still don't understand this. If I don't specify a provider it still finds channels under "Search Current Lineup". So where is this line up coming from?

How is that source defined?
It would have to come from either the playlist (lineup) or xmltv you put in the custom channel settings.

I didn't enter or specify a xml EPG. When I use "Search Current Line", the results will include channels that are not in my m3u. If I select any of these, where is the guide data coming from?

Additionally, some of the channels in my m3u aren't found when searching "Current Lineup".

It comes from our guide provider. It's just listing common channels.

If I enter my my provider's EPG, some of the listings are incorrect. Can I select from multiple sources? Or would I need to split my m3u?

Searching all allows you to find channels outside of the current lineup, it’s there so you don’t have to do that.
