Is there a way to search within the android app an have it show you new shows/season & recommended shows & upcoming movies like it does on the dvr side it's really useful
There is a search, but not the New Shows/Seasons etc views yet.
Is that something u guys may implement in the future? Its super helpful when setting up recordings or finding new shows but done on the frontend instead of logging into the dvr side each time to explore... I don't mind it but it just brings simplicity an streamline to the app. Helps people like my wife or kid to be able to explore shows a record without being able to mess with the backend of the dvr system.
Yes it is planned. Currently we're testing that feature and the On Later tab on the web UI.
