I have a Google Home Nest Camera. I was thinking of recoding the live feed from my PC to individual files (say 30 min. increments) and save to the PC with the date, time in the filename. How can I convert those to a Get Channels Channel with each 1/2 hour showing in the grid as a separate 30min show? Is there a better way to do this?
I do this as well using a TP-link c120, not familiar with the google Home Nest cam. The TP provides the rstp feed to use as a source for channels, so pretty easy to set up. Be aware that if you use 30 minute segments, it will clutter your "scheduled recordings" and "recordings" tab with 48 entries each per day. I currently use 3 hour show segments and run a bash script to move the entries from the "recordings" tab to import into a "video" tab that is easier to navigate.
