Just FYI, I'm watching a basketball game on ESPN and the Seek Options are following the "Normal" setting instead of Sports.
Also, just another request to someday add one-second seek times as well as a "frame-by-frame" playback option. Useful for the Sports seek option category. 
You're using third party guide data that likely does not have the appropriate tags for sporting events like our guide data has.
Therefore, these airings are not being identified as sporting events, so that setting is not being used.
It's added from Sling TV Everywhere.
So, I think it should be using Channels guide data?
But I'm not sure how to verify that.
I didn't go out of my way to use any third party guide data for Sling.
Ok great, please submit diagnostics from the client app after you’ve experienced this, and we’ll have more info to go on.

Well, now I can't reproduce the issue. lol
I had gone into settings and changed "Normal" to duplicate my custom Sports settings, so that ESPN would follow the custom seek options.
But even after resetting Normal back to normal settings, ESPN is now following my custom Sports settings. Doing what it's supposed to do. cool
