Series/Episode naming question

Got a quick question on series/episode naming for importing shows. I've got Top Gear (the original UK series), and Top Gear US.

They are in separate folders named:

Top Gear
Top Gear (US)

The episodes are named with the same series name (Top Gear and Top Gear US).

However, it appears that when they were matched, they are getting combined together in the same show. I assume one of the shows needs to be named differently? Looking on Gracenotes, I can't figure out what the show should be named for the UK version? Wondering what others have done to get them to match properly?

Actually, I think I can find the appropriate show to match over on TMDB. The big issue is why Channels is combining the shows together. Is it because it considers Top Gear and Top Gear (US) the same?

How should the folders/files be named in this instance so they are separated?

There should be a Fix Incorrect Show option when you select some episodes

Yeah I did find that but it didn't offer me anything to select from. I would have thought it would allow you to select Gracenote or TMDB but there was no drop-down. Also changing the name to search for didn't seem to bring up any other shows to select from.

I did find out that once I renamed Top Gear (US) to Top Gear USA, then it did separate them out.

That's only available at the Show level, not the Episode level.
Match a Show using Gracenote or TMDB.
But when you match a Show using TMDB, it doesn't update the Show metadata, it updates the Episodes.
Matching on an Episode only uses Gracenote.

I know, it's really intuitive.

Yeah, it's been a small bit of a struggle getting stuff to match lol. Although it has forced me to also cleanup some of my library.

Doesn't help that additionally I decided to start using Sonarr and it has slightly different metadata as well.
