Series Pass/Guide Issues for East Coast Channels?

Is there an issue with guide data for east coast feeds (i.e. Showtime East, Starz East, etc.)?

I have HDHomeRun Prime and two week guide data completed downloading. I was trying to setup series pass recordings (from web interface) for Black Sails (9PM Sundays) on Starz HD East but that channel does not list in the series pass setup and will only list Starz HD West channels. If I manually go to the Guide and forward to Sunday night at 9PM it is listed there on Starz HD East and I can queue a one time recording for it.

Similarly, Homeland (10PM Sundays) on Showtime East I setup a series pass for but noticed that no shows were queue for recording. When I checked the guide, it appears as though data for that one channel stops at 6 PM this Sunday. The West coast Showtime channels are fine.

Just wondering if your guide provider has some issues or if there’s a problem on my side. I’d prefer to series pass my East Coast feeds rather than West Coast.

Do those channels not have DRM for you?

Can you take a screenshot of the results for Black Sails and post it here? For each airing, does it show just one channel number? If you’re seeing that on the guide when you look in the future, then it should be showing up in the search results as well…

Our guide provider Gracenote has been having some issues in the last few days, so it’s possible that’s related. Especially in the case of Showtime where data is missing.

I’m lucky my provider currently does not have DRM for those channels. HBO & Cinemax unfortunately are however.

Airings show multiple channel numbers (for HD & non HD channel).

In attempting to get screenshots for you I noticed that there are a lot of reruns airing on the various Starz channels (Starz Encore, Encore West, Starz in Black, etc…) in the lead up from now until the new season starts on the 29th at 9PM, however the series pass only scrolls to and ends about 8:15PM for that day so it may be hitting some numerical listing limit and not getting to the 9PM time slot for the new airing. Perhaps it doesn’t reach out as far enough as the channel guide when so many reruns are listed? That seems to explain why series pass has no showings currently queued and why I can manually queue it from the guide.

Showtime East data missing after 6PM this Sunday is hopefully just a Gracenote issue like you said that will be corrected in the next few days.

This issue has been fixed in the upcoming 2017.01.25.0359 release.
