When creating a series pass, what is the difference between limit and keep?
Limit stops new recordings from being made, if N unwatched recordings already exist
Keep settings are used to automatically delete recordings
it sounds like keep his telling us the number of days to keep a recording. The keyword here is DAYS
Limit on your hand is how many recordings we’re going to keep. again, keyword is RECORDINGS
it would be great if they would have a pop-up help or something in the app to let the stupid end user, me, know what these two did. it would also be nice if the titles of those two in the app were changed slightly so we would know so didn’t have to meddle around for hours trying to guess. I wonder if somebody could change it.
I'm fairly new to Channels and agree that those options could be presented in a much more intuitive manner. Took me a good bit of Googling to finally figure out how they worked.
