When creating a series pass, the options only allows for up to 15 minutes padding at the end of the show. This has caused a problem with the World Series. When scheduling a single show, I can select up to 120 minutes padding. Am I doing something wrong?
You can use the web ui which allows 120 min padding on series passes.
Thanks for the workaround, but it sure would be nice not to have to rely on the web interface. That’s the main reason I moved from Plex to Channels for the DVR.
Thanks for mentioning this case. It looks like we just need to add a ton of options for these. We tried to get by without overwhelming everyone with options, but there’s always a niche case where a ton of time makes sense.
We’ll increase the options in the future. Unfortunately we probably won’t be able to get it out before the series is over. So make sure to use the web UI to get more padding. I don’t want you to miss any of these insane games!!
I will do that! Fortunately, the last 5+ hour game was still in progress when my recording ended so I didn’t miss the finale. I really do like your DVR. It puts the competition to shame!
