Server crashed twice on Windows machine this week

Not sure whether there is something wrong with my configuration but it has happened twice this week now with two different versions of the CDVR server.

I had to start it manually this morning and got the logs. Hopefully, they contain relevant information for debugging.

Logs have been submitted as 7eec4f25-6de8-42f6-afea-7aee980f3d43 .

Please let me know if you see anything that indicates that I need to fix something on my computer itself.

Im sure they will troubleshoot this for you but long term, you may want to move your server onto a dedictated server (if it isnt already). Then move to a more stable OS like linux. More of a long term plan but the more variables you can get rid of the better. When the WAF comes into play, i want to preemptively eliminate any and all issues

The crash was not windows specific. Seems like an edge case in Stirr streams. I added a fix to latest prerelease.

It is actually a machine that I use only as a server on my network and it is dedicated to running Channels DVR and PLEX.

I have used Linux before with great success, even used it as my main OS (Ubuntu) for several years.
These days though, Windows has gotten better in terms of stability so I didn't bother with Linux this time. If it ever gets really bad, I will definitely consider migrating to Linux.

I hear you loud and clear on this one! You are good husband material. :+1:

Thanks for confirming and fixing it quickly. Excellent support as usual! :+1:
