Server local Tailscale ip address changed

Hey folks.

I ran into a slight hiccup today with Tailscale.
The local private ip address that was assigned to my channels server somehow changed on its own.

Has anyone else seen this?

I had created several safari shortcuts with the static ip address and I couldn’t get into the web UI for channels until I realized that the ip address changed. The static ip has been fixed and stable for at least a year.

I’m back up and running. Once I discovered what the issue was.

Interested if anyone has had this happen to them.
To my knowledge I hadn’t done anything with the Tailscale admin console to make any address changes or any reset of settings.

Not a big deal but pointing it out in case anyone else sees it unexpectedly change.

If you set up Tailscale to advertise sub-net routes, you can actually access the device/server via its local private IP. That assumes of course the device/server has a static IP or static IP reservation.
