So Running server on 2017 shield and have external hard drive . connected 2 hd homeruns and connected directv and Philo for TVE. what have found is if recording multiple shows on TVE can't watch anything on TVE shows just circles . I can usually watch hdhomerun. Is there limit how many I can record or something?
There is no limit in the software. You may be experiencing issues based upon your bandwidth (drive and/or network), or hardware not keeping up. (TVE streams always exhibit "tuner sharing", meaning everything must first pass through the DVR server and its drives before being sent to requesting clients.)
