First off, this feature is awesome - thanks for making it happen!
My question: I'd like to completely remove the collections from On Now and the Guide, which is easy enough, but I'd like On Now to show the favorites, and the Guide to show all channels. I don't see how to make that happen without selecting the appropriate filter on the client first before disabling the collections on the server settings. Am I missing a setting?
Just discovered a small bug, appears to be cosmetic only: The On Now Channel Collections toggle in settings isn't reflecting the value from the server override (even though the collections do appear/disappear properly). The other Collections toggles are respecting the server value correctly. (tested with app version 4.5.0 on tvOS and iOS, server version 2021.03.30.0356)

This is exactly how household do it. Before hiding the category bars, set your collection, then hide it. Then it will stick to the one you want to show.

I'm not able to repro this. Can you screenshot how it appears? Does it appear dimmed in the app?
If you click the toggle nothing happens?
Correct, but only On Now. The other three (Guide, Favorites, and All Channels) toggle on/off in real time as I toggle their corresponding switch on the web admin.
In case it matters, I'm using the stand-alone client app (the purchased one that doesn't require DVR service).
Maybe you have a client setting for that specific client?
When you click the toggle on the web UI, does it turn blue?
Okay so something does happen when you click it
