Set photo for recording library

Is there a way to set a picture or frame from recording to use as cover picture when one haven’t downloaded or attached? Secondly can one force a picture to the library ?
Example : the out of towners (1970) simply has the color bars not the cover picture like other movies that are recorded.

Secondly can I do that with own home recordings?
In video world it was called setting key Frame then using key frame as title picture…or something like that when use to capture to dvd/ mpeg1 and write to cd/dvd back in 90s

Yes on the DVR web UI you can find the show and click "Update Art"

Could be Channels DVR looked up the name without the dashes in it.

Yeah sounds like you need to find the correct match. Once it does, it should have all its metadata.

If you need to, you an edit the metadata yourself (this is how you’d do it for your own videos)

And if you’re adding your own videos that are NOT real movies or shows, you should import them as Videos.

And to change it from tv show to movie?
Out of towners

Show up as tv shows…
I’ve been looking around where you sent me I’m missing it…
Also I’ve updated the link (thanks for out of towners ) but nothing happened? It’s light grey,out in and hit save but again not much happens …but will keep at it tonight

Were they recorded by Channels DVR, and if so what source?
Only way I know to change between Movie/TV Show is move them to your local content imports directory for TV or Movie.
