Now that all my Channels are back. I'm re setting up my Hdhomerun connects. One is wired in a Bedroom and the second is on a Ethernet adapter in the second room. I'm putting the wired as a priority. Should I separate channels on each device or put them all favored on one device and it will automatically default to the second if the tuner is full?
You're probably best just setting favorites in the clients, not the DVR. Instead, put the wired tuner higher priority in the DVR, so recordings will automatically fall over to the tuner on the adapter when the first is at capacity.
Keeping favorites on the client only will like you to use the Favorites category in the client, but the DVR will just use the preferred device.
Thanks. Something isn't right. I keep completely losing Fox on both tuners on my Apple tv. NBC on one tuner. I scan , they come back. A few minutes later, they are gone again. On the Fire tablet. Everything is fine. Not sure what's causing that
