When I use the guide for local stations and attempt to set a recording and a pass, I choose the most powerful station that I have, but Channels ignores it and sets it up for another station. I pull stations from both the front and the back of my antenna, so the weaker stations on the back, I do not even have on my guide. I end up with pixelation or loss of signal, and ultimately lose the recording. I'm using an HD HomeRun Quatro and am streaming Philo.
On the DVR > Passes page via the web UI, you can set the channel number you want used for the pass.
Also, you can disable the weak stations on the DVR web-ui. Or on the HDHR config.
Thanks for letting me know about disabling the weak stations, that will certainly help so I don't have to go through the same experience again. Frankly, I didn't know how to access the web interface, since I have only been using a Firestick. Tried everything I could with the Firestick, but it wouldn't allow me to set the station default. Once again, thanks for the assistance.
are you a DVR user? if so, it can be accessed with any web browser on your network at the dvr ip on port 8089. Or, just point any web browser to http:// followed by the ip of your HDHR and disable them in the channel lineup there. It does the same thing.
