I read one of the new features is to initiate closed captioning automatically when “shake to mute” is used. I just updated to the latest version on both of my ATVs. Tried it on both multiple times and the app always crashes.
This is after you turned on “captions” mode on the Settings tab?
Does it also crash on regular “on” mode?
It works as expected when captions are already turned on. I turned captions off and the app crashes when I shake the remote.
On the Settings tab what does it say next to Shake to Mute?
This bug has been fixed in the latest build.
The shake to mute was set to ON only. I didn’t realize it was configurable in the settings tab. I can confirm it works correctly in the latest build, both set to ON and ON+Captions.
