At the moment I only have one Prime but I’m planning on getting another prime for the extra tuners. It would be cool if the recorded shows could be viewed regardless of which combination of prime box or Apple tv4 the recording was set from, in essence creating a full home DVR.
Channels DVR will work as you would expect with multiple tuners. Recordings will be made from the first available tuner, and playback can happen on any ATV.
