On a related subject, the One-for-All remote control featured is not their best model for Channels use in my opinion. I've been using the one linked below for the last 5 years -- and it's excellent.
I love the simplicity, while still having a reasonable number of dedicated keys. The backlight, programmability, battery life, and price are all appealing:

That is pretty cool.
I also noticed that this remote looks exactly like the one Spectrum TV sells as their Apple TV remote replacement but with their logo on the bottom instead.
It's really too bad that all service providers don't provide an option for service only, and allow us the customers to decide on the player of choice. In a perfect world every provider would operate this way. I'm afraid that is just wishful thinking since, Nielsen and Ad revenue, drives their models, it's always customer last.

Im not actually looking for a new remote, just followed rabbit hole and ended up there somehow 
However , I do appreciate the recommendation for the remote
