Shield Dongle for Playback?

I hear it's not good for a server, but how is it for playback?

It works but regret buying it ... it only runs 32Bit Android.

I have not experienced it. My network s rock solid and so is my Server so I have not experienced any choppiness regardless of device I have used.

I will say that the Shield Pro has been working very well as a server - highly recommend for the incremental cost difference.

First, I assume u mean the Tube model....there is no "dongle" model alike to a FireTV stick or HDMI Dongle type stream device.

I have the Tube model in my living-room and it preforms excellent for Channels app and other streaming apps. I have the Pro in my Bedroom/Office room and I can't tell the 2 apart. Both perform the same to me.

I have the Channels DVR server on a Intel NUC Intel i7 unit though.
