Shield TV: Searching for Channels DVR

My Shield TV was working great yesterday, however when I launch Channels today, all that is displayed is “Searching for Channels DVR.” The Live Channels player works fine and Channels works fine on my Apple TV, it just won’t load any guide data or anything on my Shield TV. I’ve tried unchecking and re-checking the DVR box, restarting my PC, HDHR, the Shield, started and stopped the service on PC and Shield. Unchecked/rechecked Bonjour but to no avail. Any ideas?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The shield uses Bonjour to discover your DVR. Usually toggling the Bonjour checkbox is enough…

Is it stuck on the “Searching for Channels DVR” or does it proceed to a blank guide?

I had an issue where I thought it wasn’t working right, but it turned out that there seems to be a bug whereby you can’t get to the guide unless you have at least one Favorite channel set.
